Day 1
Opening day for North America’s ski season. At first chair there were roughly half as many people from the media standing around as were skiers/snowboarders.

08/13/2009 Rollins Pass
It snowed anywhere from 2-5″ in the high country the night of August 13th. I drove up to Rollins Pass the next morning (without getting a flat this time!) and hiked for some nice August bluebird powder turns.
