Loveland opened yesterday, Oct. 7th, earliest opening day in the last 40 years. Woooooo!
It was actually pretty good, more snow than last year’s opening day. 2 park features (they had 3 at the start of the day though I guess?) Last year

After riding I went home and built up a little transition under a balcony with the first real snow accumulation of the season. There’s some funny video of me very unsuccessfully bomb dropping off it it, eventually I’ll edit it into something.

Opening day for North America’s ski season. At first chair there were roughly half as many people from the media standing around as were skiers/snowboarders.
